The Youth Choir of the Badalona Conservatory was founded in 1989 as an extra-curricular choral project. Since then, the choir has given numerous concerts in Spain, carried out a wide variety of projects and has been on concert tours to France and Belgium, among other places. The choir enjoys regular, excellent collaboration with the Orquestra del Teatre Lliure de Barcelona, the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya and the Cor del Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. At the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the choir also often participates in opera performances. With currently 30 singers, it is a very versatile girls choir interested in all kinds of repertoire, from early music to arrangements of contemporary music. Since 2016, the choir has been directed by Ricard Oliver Bover, who succeeded Montserrat Pi.
