Adolf Fredrik’s Church Descant and Youth Choir

The Adolf Fredrik’s Church Youth Choir and the Adolf Fredrik’s Church Descant Choir are two separate ensembles. Following the pandemic-related lockdowns, the choirs decided to enter into several collaborations with each other in order to find inspiration for both ensembles, develop existing skills, and enjoy a broader social network. Today, the Adolf Fredrik’s Church Youth Choir consists of about 20 singers aged 14 to 19 and the Adolf Fredrik’s Church Descant Choir of about 30 singers aged 9 to 13.  The choirs rehearse on separate days once a week for a few hours. The Adolf Fredrik’s Church Descant Choir is directed and conducted by Isabel Josephson, the Adolf Fredrik’s Church Youth Choir jointly by Christoffer Holgersson and Isabel Josephson. The choirs perform regularly at Adolf Fredrik’s Church in central Stockholm, both in church services and concerts.
