Youth Choir Marktkirche Hanover

In the Youth Choir of the Marktkirche Hannover, about 35 young people aged 13 to 20 sing under the direction of Lisa Laage-Smidt. Almost all of them have previously sung in the various groups of the choir school “Children’s and Youth Choir of the Marktkirche” and have thus grown into homogeneous choral singing over the years. The singers of the youth choir are supported in their voice training by Steffen Henning, so that the choir is constantly developing. The youth choir of the Marktkirche Hannover regularly performs in church services, takes part in international youth choir meetings and gives concerts. The choir receives additional impetus from its collaboration with the jazz trio Lennart Smidt and the Bach Choir of the Marktkirche under the direction of Prof. Jörg Straube through its participation in major oratorios.
